The Tot Time Annual Fund is our new fundraising campaign created to directly benefit each of our beloved students. This fund provides essential support for the ongoing operational needs of our preschool, which is vital to Tot Time's long-term success and stability.


Through the generosity of our families and community, Tot Time is able to remain a loving, Christ-centered preschool where children's hearts and minds are nurtured and prepared for the world ahead.

ANNUAL FUND FAQs

  • Why is the Tot Time Annual Fund new this year?

    The Annual Fund was created to provide long-term stability for Tot Time, supporting needs that tuition alone cannot fully cover while giving extended family, alumni, and friends an opportunity to invest in our mission.

  • Doesn't my tuition cover expenses?

    While tuition covers much of our daily operating costs, we are committed to keeping tuition affordable for all families. The Annual Fund bridges the gap by funding enhancements and programs that make Tot Time truly special - without placing the full burden on current families.

  • How will Tot Time spend the funds from the Annual Fund?

    • Funds will be used to support, maintain, and improve the ongoing operating expenses of Tot Time (ex. rent, facility, insurance, etc).
    • Funds will allow Tot Time to continue to provide several distinctions that set Tot Time apart, such as small class sizes, specialty programs (art, music and My Gym), and the biblically based curriculum that encourages learning and development through exploration and play.
    • Funds will hopefully be able to cover enhancements to the Tot Time playground and classrooms in the near future as well.

  • Is my donation to Tot Time tax deductible?

    Yes, your donation to the Tot Time Annual Fund is tax deductible. Tot Time is designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. You will receive a receipt via email immediately after your online donation is processed. Additional receipts can be requested at any time by contacting the Tot Time office.

  • Can my employer match my donation to the Tot Time Annual Fund?

    Tot Time is its own separate 501(c)(3), as it is not affiliated with any specific church. Tot Time is designated through the IRS as an educational entity and therefore, should be eligible for Corporate Matching if your employer participates. Your employer's HR department can assist with specific requirements and applications.

  • Can I give by cash or check?

    Yes! Cash or check can be dropped off at Tot Time, or mailed to Tot Time Preschool, 4921 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC, 28211

  • Is this campaign different from the donation I gave at the beginning of the year for Teacher Appreciation?

    Yes, the annual fund is a separate fundraiser that serves a more general purpose for the school. The suggested $35 per student donation at the beginning of the school year is specifically meant to cover Teacher Apperciation, which shows our teachers how grateful we are for all they do for our children, specifically on their birthdays and during Teacher Appreciation week.

  • Will Tot Time do any other fundraisers throughout the year?

    There will be smaller fundraisers throughout the year, such as t-shirt sales, but the Annual Fund is our top philanthropic priority for Tot Time.

  • How long will the Annual Fund run?

    The Tot Time Annual Fund will kick-off early October, and will run through year-end. As we budget and plan for the new calendar year and upcoming school years, our hope is to reach our goal by December 31st. However, contributions are graciously accepted at any point.

  • Are there any fees deducted from my donation via GiveButter?

    No, Givebutter does not take a portion of your generous donation (however, you will be given the option to "tip" Givebutter in the checkout process.)


    Also, please note, some transactions incurr a processing fee (i.e. 2.9% for credit cards, etc) which you can choose to pay or pass on to Tot Time as a fundrasing expense.
